Lessons & Clinics
We love large group environments just as much as one on one sessions.
In group lessons & clinics, there's multiple voices being heard. It is always set with a structured plan, but spaced with enough wiggle room to spend on specific support pieces. This is good for a wide variety of information, getting started in something, or building up your knowledge.
Private lessons get deeper into fine tuning & specific support & can cover a wide variety of topics & corrections over an extended period of time.
OUR STEPS
01.
Consult.
It's important to us to make sure your wants & concerns are heard. That's why a consultation meeting is always our first step so we can tailor a plan to your specific goals & work alongside you in the process to produce a horse that meets your needs.
02.
Ground work.
Building a foundation of mutual respect starts the second you are handling a horse. This is why we put such a large emphasis on starting a horse on the ground before we swing a leg over.
03.
Arena work.
Letting a horse build its confidence in a controlled environment lets them focus on the task at hand without them worrying about the outside environment. Your horse will spend between 10-15 hours each week fine tuning their skills & mastering their job.
04.
Getting out.
Seasoning & conditioning a horse to things outside of a controlled environment is an important part of desensitizing a horse & allowing them to showcase all they've learned,. You'll know the horse you sent us will perform, even when they leave The Quilted K.
